About Function First
Function First provides speech and feeding therapy services to children birth to 18 in Northwest Arkansas. Function First strives to prioritize functional feeding and speech skills to support a child's success in their daily lives, while also empowering parents in their daily routines of caring for their child. Function First provides services in the home in Bella Vista, Rogers, Bentonville, and Springdale with clinic visits available in Rogers and Springdale.
Feeding
Feeding therapy provided to support development of feeding skill, selective eating, and supporting mealtimes. No matter how feeding looks - breast, bottle, pureed, solid, sippy cup or by tube, all kiddos can get the support they need at Function First.
Swallowing
Supporting management of pediatric swallowing disorders, weaning off thickened liquids when appropriate, and providing support to caregivers in navigating pedatric dysphagia.
Speech
Supporting age appropriate development of articulation and providing differential diagnosis to increase intelligibility and access to functional communication.
Home Based Services
Depending on your location, home based services are provided to allow patient access to services in their natural environment.
Clinic Based Services
For patients that respond better to therapy services provided in clinic, 2 clinical spaces are available in Springdale and Rogers.
